The line has 5 options: x fine (1500 gr), fine (600 gr), medium (400 gr), coarse (200 gr), and x coarse (100 gr). Diamond files are usable in any direction which makes them best used in a circular motion. We recommend using them with 50% water 50% alcohol solution, rather than a dry file, to help create a better edge. These files are all compatible with Rode's file
