古信楽の窯道具である2つの鞘が、窯の中で、ひっ付き、上の鞘が破れ、ちょうど壺のようになったものです。

信楽の古窯跡から出た、大きな陶板です。深めのニュウがありますが、がっしりした堅牢な造りです。

表情が柔らかで、愛らしい佇まいです。

とても珍しい輪花の瓶座です。よく使い込んだ古錫の味わい、陰影。日々の茶道具にいかがでしょう。
